Profile

I’m Oscar Holloway, and I’ve built a strong foundation in advertising through a mix of academic training and hands-on experience. I’m drawn to the space where creativity meets strategy to solve problems, build connections, and craft stories that resonate.

One of the core values that drives my work is empathy. I believe the best campaigns aren’t just clever, they’re genuinely human. I care deeply about understanding the people on the other side of the message, and I strive to create work that meets them where they are, with honesty and intention.

I’m always learning, and I’m passionate about growing in environments that challenge me to think differently and push further. Whether it’s a campaign brief or a collaborative brainstorm, I bring focus, curiosity, and follow-through to everything I do.

I’ve worked hard to hone skills that not only reflect a high standard of quality, but also show my commitment to thoughtful, innovative work.

This project let me dive deep into something I care about in tea and global culture. I created educational content on tasting, history, and cultural practices. I used engagement insights to guide new content and help people connect more meaningfully with global traditions through tea.

Advertising Campaigns
Temple University
Fall 2024

Leading a small but dedicated team, we created a budget-conscious, multi-platform campaign for the USBC Southeastern Pennsylvania branch. With limited resources, we worked hard to understand the audience and built a strategy that connected with them in a meaningful way across social media, out-of-home ads, and digital platforms. The campaign focused on building real engagement with the community, and it was an incredible honor when it was selected as “Best in Class” by the USBC Corporate Marketing team.

Advanced Media
Planning
Temple University
Spring 2024

As part of a semester-long project for the Saxbys Experiential Learning Platform (ELP), we developed a six-month media plan aimed at growing awareness and leads for the program. It was a shift from promoting products to promoting a mission and it challenged us to think differently about how advertising can support purpose-driven goals. We leaned on data, collaboration, and a lot of testing to make it work, and the plan was recognized as “Best in Class” for its smart use of audience insights and results-oriented thinking.
